This is update of my personal forecasts for Egypt’s macro forecast through 2035 (3 more years added). Going forward, I will be updating this set of forecasts on a quarterly basis, specifically at the start of each new quarter.
These forecasts dated 1 July 2026 cover the following:
Inflation rate.
FX rate.
Interest rate:
CBE’s overnight lending rate (quarterly, annual, EOP, and average).
CBE’s overnight deposit rate (quarterly, annual, EOP, and average).
Cost of capital:
Egypt’s cost of equity (COE).
Egypt’s cost of debt (COD), before and after corporate tax.
