Amr Hussein Elalfy is Direct at the Research Department of CI Capital Holding, a leading investment bank in Egypt. Elalfy has an experience of over 13 years in capital markets and wireless communications.

Elalfy started off his professional life at King Street Capital, a multi-billion-dollar alternative investment manager based in New York, USA), where he helped grow the firm in its early years. Later on, Elalfy moved back to Egypt where he joined Prime Securities as a Senior Analyst and Commercial International Brokerage Co. (CIBC) as an Assistant Manager in the Research Department.

Also, Elalfy spent about two and a half years at Vodafone Egypt as a Planning Manager where he took part in developing the company's commercial budgets to comply with the requirements of the market and the mother company (Vodafone Group).

Elalfy has a bachelor's degree in Business Administration specialized in Finance & Investments (summa cum laude) from Baruch College (City University of New York) in 1997 and a master's degree in Business Administration from the American University in Cairo (AUC) in 2002. He is also the Acting President, Secretary, board member, and one of the founders of CFA Egypt, a member society of the CFA Institute in the USA. Elalfy has been a CFA charter holder since 2008.

From time to time, Elalfy appears as a guest and an observer of the Egyptian equity market on CNBC Arabia, OTV, OnTV, and NileTV. He is also the market analyst of the Business Monthly, the monthly publication of the American Chamber of Commerce since 2002.
